Induction program for newly-hired employees

Newly-hired employees risk getting burned out. The first time at a new job might be stressful, and in the long run this can result in unfortunate development and working habits. In an attempt to prevent this, an induction program for newly-hired should be inducted where the employee gets a “Godparent” who looks after him or her. The “Godparent” should give extra attention to the employee’s working habits as these can be burn-out causing methods learned at former work places.

Follow-up of employees that are newly qualified

Employees that are newly qualified are in a distinct situation and might, due to lack of work and life experience, become burned out after a couple of years. Some of them have big ambitions and excessive believes in their self, theirs abilities and skills. Other newly qualified experience the opposite; they question their skills and abilities, and feel insufficient. A experienced ”Godparent” can help them both in handling work life’s challenges and with the shock many newly qualified experience when they discover that reality doesn’t meet the ideals created at school or university.
